Mosque Construction Project
Mawlana Abdur Rashid Social Welfare Association
For decades, Mawlana Abdur Rashid Social Welfare Association has remained committed to serving vulnerable Muslim communities across Bangladesh and the Rohingya refugee camps. One of our most impactful and spiritually uplifting initiatives is our Mosque Construction Project, through which we strive to provide safe, dignified, and accessible places of worship for families living in extreme hardship.
Why Mosque Construction Matters
In rural Bangladeshi villages and overcrowded Rohingya camps, thousands of families lack a proper space to pray, learn, and gather as a community. A mosque is not only a place of worship—it is a center of guidance, education, unity, and peace. Establishing a mosque helps:
• Strengthen Islamic education for children and adults
• Provide a safe space for prayer, Quran learning, and community programs
• Restore hope, dignity, and spiritual well-being
• Unite the community under one roof for Juma, Eid, and daily Salah
For those who have lost everything—especially displaced Rohingya families—a mosque becomes a symbol of stability and comfort.
Our Ongoing Work
Alhamdulillah, with the support of generous donors, our organization has successfully built hundreds of mosques in Bangladesh and within various Rohingya refugee camps. These mosques range from small community musallas to fully structured Jame Masjids capable of serving large populations.
Each project is carefully monitored—from location assessment and design, to construction, supervision, and completion—ensuring transparency and long-term sustainability.
Appeal for Support
We are currently launching a new phase of our Mosque Construction Project to meet the rising need for prayer facilities in vulnerable communities. We invite Muslims around the world to take part in this Sadaqah Jariyah opportunity.
Your donation can help:
• Build a complete mosque in a needy village
• Renovate damaged prayer spaces
• Provide carpets, electrical fittings, wudu areas, and sound systems
• Sponsor Quran teaching materials and Islamic education programs
Every contribution, big or small, becomes a continuous reward (Sadaqah Jariyah) as long as people pray and seek knowledge in that mosque.
Be a Part of This Noble Cause
Building a mosque is one of the greatest acts of charity in Islam. The Prophet ﷺ said:
“Whoever builds a mosque for the sake of Allah, Allah will build for him a house in Paradise.” (Sahih Bukhari & Muslim)
Join us in bringing light, faith, and hope to underprivileged Muslim communities.
