History of Mawlana Abdur Rashid Social Welfare Association (MARSA)
Mawlana Abdur Rashid Social Welfare Association (MARSA) is a non-governmental, non-profit organization dedicated to humanitarian service and sustainable development in Bangladesh and among other vulnerable communities worldwide. Founded in 2008 through community-driven voluntary initiatives, MARSA was officially registered in 2017, strengthening its institutional capacity and expanding its humanitarian reach.
From its early beginnings, MARSA has worked to address the root causes of poverty, inequality, and humanitarian crises. What began as a small grassroots effort has grown into a structured and impact-oriented organization delivering life-saving assistance and long-term development solutions to thousands of beneficiaries.
Our Mission and Core Focus Areas
MARSA’s mission is to uplift disadvantaged communities and restore dignity to vulnerable populations through sustainable, transparent, and inclusive humanitarian programs. The organization focuses on the following core areas:
